Career Match is an assessment tool that calculates your top 20 career matches with percentage match rates.

Career Match serves to assist senior high school students, university students and disenchanted workers identify their career propensity.

Career Match is not a basic 5min psychometric test; it will most likely take you 1hr to complete the full assessment and report your results. The app assesses the following six work quality metrics (1. job interest [typically found in most psychometric test], 2. abilities, 3. knowledge, 4. skills, 5. work activities & 6. work styles). Your selections for these metrics are then matched against the O*Net database to formulate your top 20 list.

Career Match is an assessment tool with a difference:
1. It’s mobile! You know what happens when you do those personality and psychometric tests at the wrong time and when you’re in the wrong mood. Yes, that’s right, bad results. Career Match was designed to be with you at those moments of inspiration, online or offline
2. Its empirically based and uses the current and comprehensive real workers observation data from the US Department of Labor, Employment & Training.
3. Most psychometric tests assess you only in job interests. However, Career Match additionally assesses the other dimensions of Abilities, Knowledge, Skills, Activities & Styles
4. It will give you a percentage match which quantitatively measures you up against the characteristics and qualities of people who have careers in those respective jobs

Now, let’s be honest, there is no crystal ball to predict your perfect career; There are many forces at play: the economic, political, environmental & social conditions along with your career values. However, your career values are the most stable source of input under your control and this is what Career Match uses to determine your career propensity.
